Once You've Graduated
Foreign students studying in Canada often wish to remain in Canada when they have completed school. We have helped numerous students remain in Canada upon finishing their studies.
An effective way to remain in Canada after school is through the Canadian Experience Class program, which was established in 2008. The Canadian Experience Class provides foreign students in Canada with preferential eligibility for permanent residence. Eligibility is based on school, work and language experience and abilities, and includes:
- Graduation from a Canadian college or two or more years of study at a Canadian school; and
- At least one year of professional, managerial or skilled worker experience in Canada; and
- Language ability in English or French appropriate for the student's occupation level
